Exchange of Large Data Volumes Between 3D, CAD, and VR Systems
3D_Evolution now supports JT 10.5 and enables the conversion of large data volumes between common 3D formats and the latest JT version.
The current version of the universal converter 3D_Evolution 4.5 supports the latest JT format 10.5. The tool is specifically designed for exchanging large volumes of data between various 3D, CAD, and VR systems and simplifies detailed CAD models.
Converting Large Data Volumes
For data conversion in industries like automotive, aerospace, and plant engineering, it is often necessary to convert assemblies that are several gigabytes in size into another system format. This is now possible with the latest JT data format. The current software version 3D_Evolution 4.5 SP1 supports the new STT technology, enabling a quick 3D preview of the entire JT model and the subsequent loading of subassemblies in the precise XT format. This provides users with an overview for selecting and converting desired sections in the shortest time.
Helpful Additional Features
The new version of the conversion software also supports the 3D dimensioning information in JT 10.5. This allows 3D measurements to mark reference geometries such as holes and tolerance details on the model, offering users a clearer overview.
The 3D_Evolution converter includes interfaces for all common systems and formats, such as Catia, Creo, NX, Solidworks, Inventor, and STEP, as well as visualization formats like FBX, GLTF, and OBJ. Features for quality analysis and data correction ensure data integrity when exchanging information between various 3D systems.
The optional Simplifier module of the software automatically generates an outer shell for complex models, effectively reducing the data volume of large assemblies and intricate designs. This facilitates fast and seamless processing in 3D systems. At the same time, the creation of hull geometry helps protect proprietary company know-how.
